Jasmine’s Story
Jasmine Tamia Gray is the only child of Robert and Gail Gray and was born in Kansas City, MO, but spent her early years moving between Philadelphia, PA and Detroit, MI. However she primarily grew up in Overland Park, KS, where she attended Olathe East High School. Jasmine shined as captain of her dance team and an active member of the National Honor’s Society. After graduating, Jasmine continued her academic journey at Kansas State University where she majored in Business- Human Resource Management and minored in Leadership Studies.
During her time at Kansas State University, Jasmine was involved in the Black Student Union, The Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc where she served as Treasurer.
Currently Jasmine works as an HR Professional in the Human Resources Department at the Engineering Firm Burns & McDonnell as a Staff Employee Relations Specialist. She is also continuing her education in pursuit of obtaining her MBA and Master’s in Human Resource Management.
